SMS Policy

Woodbridge Public Auto Auction (WPAA) is the registered trade name (T/A/DBA) of S&S Service Center Inc.

Program Description

Woodbridge Public Auto Auction ("WPAA") operates a customer-care and transactional SMS program for customers who submit an inquiry through a web form on WPAA.US. Messages relate to inquiries, appointments, offers, auction registration, vehicle information, inspection requests, transportation coordination, export inquiries, and customer support.

Opt-In Process

Consumers opt in to WPAA SMS exclusively through web forms on WPAA.US. Every WPAA lead form (Sell or Consign, Request WPAA Inspection, Request Transportation, Export Information, Vehicle Question, Contact, Dealer Application, and Buyer Account Profile) includes two separate SMS consent checkboxes that are not pre-checked:

• SMS Updates About My Inquiry (Transactional SMS Consent) — for your inquiry, vehicle appraisal, appointments, offers, account activity, transportation updates, title requests, and customer service communications.
• Marketing SMS (separate, optional) — for promotional messages including auction announcements, new inventory alerts, and special offers.

The consumer must affirmatively check each box before submitting the form. Both boxes are unchecked by default. Selecting one does not select the other. Neither is a condition of purchase. The exact disclosure shown next to the transactional checkbox is:

"By checking this box, you agree to receive transactional text messages from Woodbridge Public Auto Auction (WPAA) regarding your inquiry, vehicle appraisal, appointments, offers, account activity, transportation updates, title requests, and customer service communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help."

A separate marketing SMS disclosure is shown next to the marketing checkbox:

"By checking this box, you agree to receive marketing and promotional text messages from Woodbridge Public Auto Auction (WPAA). Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help."

Consent timestamps and consent type (transactional vs. marketing) are stored separately in our database, along with the exact disclosure text shown at opt-in, the source page URL, and the consumer's IP address, for audit purposes.

Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and activity. WPAA sends only messages related to your request and customer-care follow-up.

Opt-Out Process (STOP)

• Reply STOP to any WPAA SMS to immediately unsubscribe.
• You will receive one confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed; no further SMS will be sent unless you opt in again through a WPAA.US web form.

• Reply HELP to any WPAA SMS to receive a help message with WPAA contact information.

Privacy

WPAA does not share mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent data, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consent to receive SMS messages is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

Use of WPAA SMS is also governed by our Terms of Service. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase.
